Boys Group Home: Part-Time Deputy Juvenile Officers and Youth Specialists
We are a 24-hour facility and must staff around the clock. Applicants must be available for a variety of shifts. Part time employees usually work 8 to 16 hours per week, but may work more hours on a very limited basis. We are looking for applicants who have the flexibility to work day or evening shifts during the week and weekends.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the daily living activities of the residents
- Adheres to procedures for documentation and training
- Demonstrates effective communication with staff, residents and parents.
The Deputy Juvenile Officer position requires a Bachelor's degree, and the starting pay is $14.32 per hour.
The Youth Specialist position is a non-degreed position and requires a high school diploma. Starting pay is $11.65 per hour.
Applicants must complete and pass a criminal background, Children’s Division screenings, and be at least 21 years of age.
The position involves working with teens in a group home setting. Resumes should include experience working with teens in some setting outside your own home, experience working in the criminal justice system, and interest in law enforcement/criminal justice. If you have no experience as stated above, you must be able to show a strong interest in the field.
