Position Title:System Analyst / Web Developer

General Purpose

The System Analyst / Web Developer designs, develops and maintains web based software for use by public and court personnel and assists in configuration and maintenance of back-end systems intended for this purpose.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty in a satisfactory manner. The following is a nonexclusive listing of essential job duties:
  • Development and maintenance of new and existing user-facing line-of-business solutions
  • Research, recommendation, integration and deployment of middle- and database tier systems
  • Perform other related duties as assigned and reasonably qualified to perform

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of ASP.NET, object oriented programming in C#, CSS, Entity Framework, HTML, JavaScript, and MVC design patterns
  • Good working knowledge of database programming and relational principles, MS SQL, MySQL, and Oracle
  • Ability to produce clean, well-documented code, follow industry best practices and contribute in all phases of the software life cycle
  • Good skills in verbal and written communication and phone etiquette, technical reporting and documentation; Ability to organize work and handle multiple tasks under deadlines with limited supervision

Desired Education/Experience

  • Must have a High School diploma/GED and a Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology related field or comparable relevant project and work experience
  • Demonstrated ability to independently research, evaluate and apply technical knowledge necessary to work on projects and accomplish tasks

Work Environment

Most work is performed in a modern office setting

  • Vision must be adequate for data entry and retrieval
  • Hearing must be adequate for conversations and telephone use
  • Ability to physically perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position

Salary: $72,000 annually; plus benefits

Hours: 40 hours/week; Monday-Friday; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
