Statement

The following statement was provided by the mediator.

With more than 35 years experience in the judicial system, I have been successful with civil disputes, family law issues, and child support and custody cases. When needed, I will draw upon my expertise, education and experience assist either party. I will act as a neutral third party to encourage reconciliation, a settlement, or a compromise between the two parties. As your mediators I will create an environment for you and the opposing side to continue communication toward a resolution of your disputed issues. You "own" the mediation process, therefore you and the other side are free to "make a deal" to resolve your dispute at any time. Although mediation is not without its costs and commitments, it is often considerably less demanding of your resources and time. When successfully utilized, mediation will help you avoid litigation and reduce stress caused by depositions and a trial.
