Statement

The following statement was provided by the mediator.

I have a Master of Arts degree in Counseling. I believe that mediation is a relationship-oriented, flexible and confidential alternative for dispute resolution. It allows divorcing spouses to participate in the divorce process and control the outcome. Mediation presents the opportunity for creative solutions and provides certainty and finality while meeting the particular needs of a family. My background as a counselor offers a unique perspective and approach to mediation.
