The 7th Judicial Circuit Chat Board was developed to give attorneys, judges, and others a forum for sharing ideas and discussing the various topics and issues concerning our judicial system today. As true professionals, mutual respect should be shown at all times. When making postings, please keep the following rules in mind:

• All members are responsible for what they post and need to realize that there may be serious action taken against any illegal behavior (such as libel, threats, harassment, defamation of character, etc.).
• Try to refrain from using bad language.
• Members opening links posted by other members do so at their own risk.
• Posting advertisements, impersonating another Chat Board member or staff member, and revealing personal information about a member that is not public knowledge will result in the violator's access rights being permanently removed.
• Postings that are unreadable due to encryption or a foreign language will be removed.
• You may edit any posting that you have created until someone replies to it. Once someone responds to a posting, it may only be replied to.

The Chat Board will be monitored by the Webmaster who reserves the right to review all postings. Violation of the above rules or other mis-use of the Chat Board will result in the posting(s) being removed and possibly the violator's access rights being PERMANENTLY removed, with or without notice.
