C.O.P.E. & Beyond is a 90 minute orientation program for parents of children under age of 18 who are returning to court for modification of their court-ordered parenting plan (this program is not required when only changes to child support are sought). The course material discusses workable parenting plans, the challenges of communications, strategies to protect children from harmful parental conflicts, and the use of mediation in resolving disputes. The program takes approximately 30 minutes to complete the powerpoint and quiz. Completion of this program is required by Local Court Rule 68.7 If you have been referred to mediation, complete this program before your mediation session.
