Check Division

This division handles the collection and prosecution of bad checks. In the calendar year ending December 31, 2007, this unit collected $680,000 in bad check restitution and fees for the people and merchants of Clay County. Click here for the Check Division home page.

Child Support Enforcement

This division handles the collection of delinquent child support. In the fiscal year ending June 30, 2006, the Child Support Enforcement Division was credited with the collection of over $21.5 million in child support.

Criminal Division

The filing of criminal charges and trying of criminal cases falls to this division. Cases range from traffic offenses to first degree murder.
